                                                        Plants that look good
- The tomato looks good. Perhaps the main reason is it has enough water,so it looks good and healthy. The tomato has a green color. There are a many fruits,it is what we need.
- The paper looks healthy,too. Perhaps need more pesticide spray. Then it would be perfect. green is the color,the soil is wet and that is what we need here.
- The yellow onion looks good and healthy. Green is the color here and the soil is wet,too. Perhaps is ready to be picked from the plant. It is watered every other day. This helps it grow normal.


                                                        Plants that looks bad
- The cucumber looks bad. The leaves have a yellow color,they should be green. It need more water so it can continue growing. This is  the reason why there is not enough fruit.
- lettuce is probably dead. Doesn't look good because there is not enough fruits. It didn't have enough water and attention. I think that we cannot help here. 
- The green onion looks bad.  It does not grow enough.  This onion was planted with seeds underground.  But when I planted the onions we didn't have enough soil and this is the main reason why it does not look as good as the other two onions that I planted.

   a)   The leaves are green.
   b)   The soil is wet.
   c)   It looks full.

6. Curled Parsley:
   a)   The soil is wet.

Plant which doesn't look healthy:

1. Cucumber:
   a)   Some leaves are yellow.
   b)   It has only one cucumber.
   c)   There are small cucumbers which look sick.
   d)   It needs more water.
   e)   The yellow leaves need to be cut.

2. Green Onion:
   a)   The soil is dry.
   b)   The leaves are without color.
   c)   It needs more water and maybe a little more shade.
   d)   It needs more soil.

3. Lettuce:
   a)   The soil is very dry.
   b)   The leaves look sick.
   c)   The plant look sick, too.
   d)   It needs more water.
   e)   The yellow leaves need to be cut.

4. Italian Oregano:
   a)   The soil is very dry.
   b)   It looks like it is dying.
   c)    It looks like it is living in a dessert.

   e)   It needs a little more shade.

The bell pepper looks good because it has little bell peppers and its leaves are green .
But it has pests;it needs pesticide.
The cucumber looks bad because its leaves are yellow and it needs more water.This plant needs more water than other plants.

Mirka

Good -   Rosemary nice smells, a healthy and a beautiful color leaves and much growth.
           
              Tomato is great, has a nice color and lots of fruit.
     
              Chilly pepper has beautiful color, healthy  and  has a lot of fruit.

Bed -    Cucumber is in poor condition, has yellow leaves and fruit are too small. It needed more

             water and trellis.

            Green onion- seeds are too small because some do not have a lot of soil.

            Oregano is dead, it hasn't had water.

GOOD    
The  tomatoes are very tall. The plant is very full. The chili pepper is healthy. They need to grow a little bigger. The green onion is very tall.               

BAD. The cucumber is very bad,It needs more water .It is to dry. It is yellow .Some of it is dead.

Using Our Rosemary

We made a recipe to eat and use our rosemary. We make a recipe called Rosemary and Lemon White Bean Dip. We learned some new words like: zest, mince, food processor, cloves, ingredients, and lemon versus lime. We learned how to make food using simple foods, measuring cups, a food processor, and a recipe. Recipes are good to learn how to cook new food better. Try the same recipe at home! Caring for Irene's Lettuce

The lettuce is not good. They are big, this is not okay. It is important to cut the leaves.  The type of lettuce in the garden is for the salad. The lettuce is a plant in the garden that should not have a lot of sun exponsure. The lettuce is a vegetable. It is green. It is important on the salad.

Victor's plant: parsley

I need to water the plant so it doesn't get dried out.
During the summer, I need to water the plant evenly.
The soil must be about 70 degrees F, so I need to check it all the time.
I can plant parsley near asparagus, corn, and tomatoes.
I need to clean all the weeds from the parsley plant. 

care for bell pepper

The bell pepper needs a lot of water if the weather is hot. It needs fertilizing after the first fruit sets. It needs support with stakes to prevent it from bending. If you want larger fruit, mix Epsom salt and water and spray it on the plant when it starts to bloom. Weed around plants.

Mirka - Rosemary

When the plant flowers, I must to trim the plant. If I want to have fresh rosemary in the winter I must grow the plants indoors in a pot, in the bright light and cool temperatures. Water the plants evenly throughout the growing season. . We can save the plant from bacterial leaf spots when growing it inside. We're using rosemary for food, as marinated for chicken, grilled lamb and like additive for salad, soup, sauce, and tea.
